2004 chevy blazer 4wd wont go into high gear

will shift but wont go any faster than 30-35 mph

check speed sensor on the back of the transfercase mine done the same thing and I check the wiring and found that one wire on the speed sensor was broke or chewed in 2 by a rat spliced back together fixed the problem if the speed sensor isnt hooked up it cant tell the transmission to shift to the next gear usually will only have 1st and 2nd gear and only run 35 to 45
