2004 avalanche making noise from motor like a whisping like something's loose I really have no idea

A strange noise from 5.3  2004 avalanche it's not a
knocking its more of a whisping sound what ever it
is I've never heard anything like it I checked oil and
it was low but has over a quart so help please
