MY HOOD RELEASE CAME APART,HOW DO I REASE THE SECOND [SAFETY RELEASE]

Look through the grill and find the area where the release rod ties into the latch release. Get a pair of needle nose pliers and pull on the latch to release it. Most likely the little plastic piece that holds the rod in broke off. Once you get the hood open use some wire or a couple zip ties to secure the rod back in place.

I believe the rod came off at the hood latch above. tried to move the rod with needle nose plier but can't see where to attach. Need to get a mirror I guess. Thank you for your response .
