Front end noise

Asked by aaguyette Sep 08, 2014 at 10:42 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My trailblazer is making a rattling noise, that sounds like a loose heat shield, that is
coming from my front passenger side wheel area.  A have checked for visual signs of
something broken or loose but came up with nothing. I have checked the heat shield on
the cat but didn't find anything.  The noise starts when I hit about 30 mph, and use to
stop at about 40 mph, but now just continues to make noise.
