Will clutch fan effect my highway driving?

In what way? If it locks up then it will be noisy and use extra engine power.

A couple days ago I had to replace the serpentine belt but I’m not sure if it was bc the clutch fan is barely spinning mechanic told me I need a whole new clutch fan. I drive highway daily and I’m scared it might effect the belt again whiting the highway
