I cannot open the caliper enough to get the new brake pads installed. Is there a trick?

I'm replacing front rotors and pads of my 2001 Toyota Tundra. I got the wrong size pads from the shop, had to put it all back together to exchange the parts. No problem. Now that I have the correct size pads I cannot open the caliper enough to instal the new pads.

I have the pistons opened fully on one side but can't get the other side to budge. Even with C clamps

ma mans suggests that you grind it off fam mash it in like a potato bled then it should get in there fam
