where is the restart button on the 2005

Are you trying to reset the trip and mileage etc. gauges? On my 2005 Buick Terraza, the scroll button, if held down will zero out those gauges, also resets the oil change reminder. On my Pontiac, there is a small button to push on the instrument cluster. If you have a vehicle manual, it will give you that information. If not, drive into a Chevrolet service drive, and the service adviser should help you reset them. Like Tom asked above, what are you trying to reset or restart? To restart the Trailblazer, put it in park and turn the key.
