My 2006 toyota tacoma is a 2 door with a 5 speed manual transmission that has the pushbutton/knob for 4wd. My problem is my 4hi will not disengage. What do i need to do?

in the early morning, my truck will start without any problems. But as the day heats up, and i go to the store or something, when i come out it won't want to start.
