4wd not working

Ok so here goes I have a 05 Tacoma sport I drove threw
water up to the hood scoop it got to deep so I backed out
when I got out of the water my 4wd light started blinking
and hasn't worked since I checked the fuses and there
good what could have done this?

Bad actuator on transfor case ,check wiring before replacment might un hook it and spray with wd40 to help dry it out.
