Hard to restart when warmed up

It's a 2000 model pre runner 2.7  starts fine when
cold ,but  after warmed up for adoption 20 min and
shut off for a bit try to restart won't start....?? Only
when I let it sit for a bit .

Sounds like the Ignition Control Module. Engine heat effects them when they are going bad. You can take it out and have it checked at an auto parts store.
