I have a 1998 toyota tacoma V6. It seems to run good as long as i start off slow and increase speed very slowly, but if i press on the accellerator quickly it sputters. The same thing happens when i approach a slight incline and need to accelerate then it sputters also.. Can you help

Brother, those belts have to be changed every 120k- the 5vz, 3vz, 1mz are notorious for acting wonky when the timing belts get slack--- since your truck doesn't have coil on plug, it isn't likely you have issues with the ignition system. Start with the belt and also ensure the vacuum lines aren't fragged either.
