Oil leak

Asked by Parker1250 Oct 13, 2019 at 03:05 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 Z71 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Suburban Z71 that is leaking
oil, I have replaced the rear main seal, the oil
pump and oil pan gasket, and the head cover
gasket. Wondering why it is still leaking oil?

1 Answer

Simple. Either you fixed the wrong things or the gaskets you installed leak because they were not installed correctly. Clean the engine and find the leak source.
