Have an 05 suburban that won't start scanner code
is reading p0178 I have replaced the fuel pump the
guy that has been working on my truck replaced
the flex  fuel sensor it started then cut right back
off on me while I was driving then another guy
came out and cleared my codes and my truck
started and ran for like and hour I drove down the
side streets and no problem I drove down a busy
street and it cut off on me I don't know what else to
do I got another diagnostic done and the codes
still read the same p0178

So the mechanic didn't get it fixed? The code relates to fuel composition sensor. I can you the wiring diagram for that sensor, the problem might be the wiring circuit, itself. I don't know if that sensor will cause it to stall? In the diagram for that sensor, the top wire is voltage and fuse protected. The bottom wire on the left in diagram is ground, you can check that the way you would any chassis ground. The signal wire is a hertz signal. That's all I got. good luck.
