Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1995 Toyota Tacoma V6 Automatic 4x4 with a automatic transmission selector (shifter) that is being affected when gassing and braking.  ????  The transmission fluid is good and the transmission shifts great.

Do you have a floor shifter? If it is just moving a tiny bit when accelerating or braking that is because it is attached to the transmission which is moving around a bit which is normal. If it is moving a lot then inspect the motor mounts and transmission mount to see if they need replacement.

The motor mounts are solid as they were just replaced. It is a floor shifter. The movement is more aggressive the more aggressive I accelerate or brake. I need to check the transmission mounts. That is a good idea. Thank you.
