intermittent noise from speedometer increasing in volume and pitch with RPM's. My book doesn't show a speedometer cable, but talks about a velocity sensor. Any ideas?

My 1994 toyota t100 4x4 automatic longbed check engine light went on first then the overdrive off light flickered intermittantly. Then I noticed speedometer and odometer stopped working. 1 Answer

How easy or hard is it to get to the speedometer cable? 1 Answer
My speedometer cable is making a terrible noise!! think i may need to spray with wd40 or something.. maybe easier to replace. any help will be gladly taken. thanks
