Wires melting

First our blinkers went out but its
not bulbs and we replaced fuses
and relay still not working and
then in same day we smelled
wires melting and it was behind
cggarette lighter area we dont
know what to do

look in side lighter make sure element is not burnt, if it is remove it,also check for loose change(penny,dime)

We actually removed all of that months ago due to smoking wires, my husband unplugged all of it. Then today blinkers and hazzard went out

did you separate the wires and cap them off? something is shorted causing smoke and blowing fuses.

Ground wires are not always black, Sometimes they are green.

Yes he said he did tape them off, he just disconnected the other burning wires tonight, i think we need a whole new wire box not sure what its calked but im driving without blinkers till we can get it done
