2004 sienna slip indicator light

what causes the slip indicator light to come on on dry pavement

Usually that's a problem with the ABS. The ABS and traction control systems work together. If your ABS light is also on, or comes on while driving, that's what's going on. Hope that helps! Jim

Yep, most likely a wheel speed sensor, it’s old enough for those to start going bad. You need to have the system code checked and see what it says.
