What do I replace now?

Asked by Crystal Mar 16, 2017 at 05:38 AM about the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced my sway bar link on my 05
Malibu and I still hear the same noise when
driving do I replace the struts or the shocks
next? It's a rattling sound that's really bad
over potholes or bumpy streets

Just have to see what is worn out. Struts definitely can make a rattle noise, see if the springs are broken, the exhaust can make a rattle also.

Replace the whole strut assembly, easier ad most cost effective
