where are the fuses for the power side mirrors? Could it be a relay that is allowing it to not work?

Asked by gussiegriff Jan 01, 2016 at 10:20 PM about the 2002 Toyota Sienna XLE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the left mirror, and now neither works.  I'm guessing a fuse was
blown. Have checked the ones inside in "coin drawer" and they are fine.
Perhaps a relay or bigger fuse? under the hood?

Fuse #38 in in-cabin box, not underhood. http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om/OM45407U/pdf/8.pdf Page 322

The fuse was okay, I did check it already. Any other options? Could it be a bigger (cube shaped)fuse or relay elsewhere? Before mirror replacement, both worked (even though the left mirror had been "disjointed"). It just makes no sense. We even tried resetting it by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 10 minutes

None I could find....but that does not mean there are some. Try the link and see if you can find something I missed

In our 2002 Toyota sienna, it appears to be fuse 38. Check this site for excellent charts and diagrams for the fuses and relays in possibly any vehicle. https://fuse-box.info/toyota/toyota-sienna-xl10- 1998-2003-fuses/amp
