Have a 2005 malibu qnd check engine light comes and goes. Launch scaanner says left bank lean. Does anyone know what hat means and what is the fix

First check for exhaust leaks on that side, if any repair and see if the light goes away. If no exhaust leak your intake manifold gaskets probably need to be replaced. Lean is caused by a vacuum leak on the motor or an exhaust leak letting fresh air in
