Purge canister location

Does anybody know the location of the evap charcoal canister location on a
2005 Chevy Impala. I think mine is clogged and I'd like to remove it and test it. I
know where the evap purge valve is I just need to find the canister.

I didn't see any black box up there. All I saw was the evap purge valve up by the gas tank inlet but that's about it...but I'll run back outside and take another look
I found it. It's on top of the gas tank
Is it in same location for the 07 Impala as well ? I’m having the exact same issue
In a 02 Impala the purge canister is above the gas tank, next to the rear driver side wheel well. I found it after taking of the rear driver side wheel.
Hey JonJon what problems were you having? Fueling at the gas station? That’s my problem? If so did you get it fixed? Was it the box on top of the tank or the vent by the fuel inlet?
