Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 chevy equinox and bought it used with 60 thousand miles been driving good but all the sudden there is a winding sound in the transmission and it sounds like it won't shift.  Will a flush take care of that I can't even check the level or add fliud if needed
