Hi Olabals, I couldn't find anything specific to the 93 Toyota ignition switch but I did find general information on how to remove and replace the ignition switch. http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?ForwardPage=/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/05/00/ee/0900823d800500ee.jsp

Its very easy my friend. First, remove the lower dashboard panel in order to get at the switch. There are four philips screws and one bolt that secures this panel. Then remove the two nuts and three bolts securing the steering column to the dash frame. This makes it easy to get at the switch. Remove the cover around the ignition switch. The front part is the key and lock tumbler, and the bottom is the electrical switch part that is not disturbed by this process. Take care not to pull the wires in the wire harness to the switch. Remove the key sensor switch from the housing that holds the tumbler and switch mechanism. Remove the screw that holds the ignition switch body. Remove the electrical harness part from the back of the switch. Then, insert the key and turn slightly. Release the pin under the tumbler casing and pull out the cylinder. Marina Del Rey Toyota

1993 Toyota 4 cylinder pickup; Engine starts normally, but only runs for about 3 to 5 seconds then dies. Have replaced the following; fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator valve, cold start injector, distributor cap and rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs, signal generator, and coil. Have resistance tested the start injector timing switch and the cold start injector, they are spot on. After attempting to start the engine 10 to 12 times, the engine starts and runs flawlessly. There is no missing , lagging, or hesitation at any speeds including stops and starts. However when the engine is shut off the starting problem begins all over again. Any suggestions?
