2005 Toyota Highlander

Asked by Brad Oct 11, 2022 at 03:20 PM about the 2005 Toyota Highlander Base V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This is my son's car and he is away at school. Sounds like the AC drain plug is
clogged and I am trying to walk him trough cleaning it. Does anyone have a link
to a video of a 2001-2007 with the location of the drain plug from under and
inside the car? Any info would help, thanks.

Just google it and you'll find lots of videos on Youtube; some for Hylander, but they're all pretty much the same.... Under the right side dash you'll see the AC condensate flexible hose, you might have to remove a panel at the console to get to it. Wiggle the hose and that should free up some water. Look under the car for drips; above the drips, you'll find the hose end. Then just blow a little compressed air into the hose or use a soft tube, like a long pip cleaner, to free up the clog. You'll see a little flow of water, and your drain is clean.
