There's a loud grinding noise when I brake or turn a corner hard but I don't think it's the breaks, help?

Asked by Lexy Feb 19, 2014 at 11:33 AM about the 2005 Toyota Corolla CE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In the left front tire, gets worse as the
car is driven, did some googling and
no one has a fix but it's a common
problem, a friend said it's the master
cylinder, could is be the axle? It's
been really snowy too, and I slid into
a curb really hard on the ice, I know
my alinement is off, it's a manual and
I know I need a new clutch could that
be draging?

1 Answer

Tom is spot on, but just to add : --it has nothing whatsoever to do with the master cylinder
