Exhaust silencer

Asked by GuruLX3H Apr 15, 2017 at 07:57 AM about the 2004 Toyota Corolla LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have put a new silencer in my corolla 2004
model but the engine is still noisy. What can
cause this? The engine sound is as if the
silencer is holed or damaged. The old one
was completely worn out.

Check the entire exhaust system for leaks from the engine to the tailpipe.
