Dog chewed very top part of door panel (not the fabric below), can I replace just the top vinyl part. Is this expensive?

Asked by corollahelp Feb 04, 2012 at 08:18 PM about the 2004 Toyota Corolla LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The vinyl area just an half inch below the window, and a half inch above the fabric
of the door panel. It is about 3 inches by 4 inches where it is ripped off from the
foam underneath. How much do you think the labor would be, and can I replace
just the part of the door panel that was damaged without replacing the whole door
panel. The car interior looks new, only 40,000 miles on it so sould I look for this
part from a junk yard, or a dealer. Any advice? I am in hot water over this and
would like to know more so I can tell my friend. Thanks
