2000 Toyota Corolla won't start, how do I investigate what the issue is?

2000 corolla initially does not start, after turn the key fully three to four time and
pump the breaks three four times and wait for 30 second, then start the car
again then car starts. i would truly appreciate, please let me to know what part
or parts could be not functioning, or any other suggestion/ recommendation if
you have at your earliest. Thanks

Does it turn over with the starter fine? It sounds like a lack of fuel and/or air. Check the air filter and intake to see if it's clogged or blocked. Also, your fuel pump may be on deaths door hence why it is taking a long time to start, it has to build pressure and the pump being weak could result in that.
