What size tires should I purchased for 1997 Toyota Corolla Sd.

Asked by Guru9158L Jul 03, 2017 at 08:48 PM about the 1997 Toyota Corolla Base

Question type: Car Customization

I purchased used 15 inch after market rims which are 4 x 100. 6.5 inches wide.
These rims are 1 inch wider and 1 inch bigger in diameter than the factory
orginals. My question is will they fit my car; and what size tires should I
purchase so they will fit with no rubbing. Any answers would be appreciated!!!!
Tires on my car now is 175 65 14.

195/50-15 tires would be 0.8" wider and 0.3" smaller in diameter which would make your car sit about 3/16" lower. 205/50-15 would probably be my choice but check the clearance.
