I have an audi A4 and few days ago I started displaying epc an it cut off while driving at times and only to start after few minutes.

epc sign usually means there something wrong with the ECU. i believe there a fuse for it. make sure the ECU is dry. a friend of mine got this wet and the light came on. went off after she dried the ecu. Could give it a try and see if not hope everything works out :) you have a vagcom? you should get the car scanned. its only 10 dollars on Ebay and software is free.
