Car starts but runs 4 seconds and shuts off, I just replaced the in tank fuel pump and its still doing the same thing I have no idea now what it could be

Well you need to figure out if the problem is a "fuel issue or an ignition issue" did you replace the fuel filter? have you done a fuel pressure test ? a volume test would also be helpful "gallons per minute test " once you have determined that the problem is or is not fuel related you can move on to the ignition system. The problem could be as simple as a bad or loose ground somewhere but you need to test before replacing parts. you may have a bad fuel regulator or a defective ignition coil, or it could be a relay to the fuel pump itself. The shot gun method will only cost you more and more money. TESTING circuits and systems will save money.

Hi have a problem with a st204 celica it runs for bout 5 min rev i up it starts missing and stops then wont start till it cools down abit have changed fuel pump.dizy and igniter on the fire wall any idea

I have a 1994 Toyota Celica it only runs when it wants to not getting spark sometimes so I changed it distributor in the ignition module still nothing and it's not showing any codes

check the wiring look for loose connectors and clean the connections if needed. I would also check the contacts " pins " in each of the connections related to your ignition. if possible do a voltage check and voltage drop test for this circuit. take your time do some detective work on the wire harness " look it over carefully" you may find the answer is something simple.
