why does my drivers side floor get soaked when it in my 96 toyota celica convertable

Whenever it rains the drivers side door gets soaked. Even if it just sits

well could be two reasons for that a bad seal around the door or the one problem i see alot is the horizontal trim on the door the rubber gets old and it no longer makes a good tight seal so the water runs down the glass and into the door
