Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I put my car on reverse and it doesn't move, when I
press on the gas the car struggles to move in
reverse I was told it's my transmission  is it a major
thing ?can it be repaired ?

1 Answer

I take it that your transmission is an automatic? Yes it can be repaired but it will cost around $3,000 and you need to shop around for a really good shop as most automatic transmission shops are not very good. Do check the fluid level to make sure it is not low. You might want to try and have the fluid and filter changed but don't let them talk you into a transmission flush.
