Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car has 265k miles. Much work has been done. Drives great! Minimal oil leak. I add 1/2 quart between oil changes. leaking some break fluid as well. a/c doesnt work. The last mechanic bypassed the control panel to the compressor and burnt it up I believe. wondering if it could be a belt or just malfunctioning board. Any suggestions?
