Chevy colbalt issue.

Asked by AlyBear95 Feb 05, 2020 at 07:37 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a 05 Chevy colbalt, one of the first
things I did was replace spark plugs and do an oil
change ect. I drove to a store 5 minutes away and
back home after filling up the car, it sat over night
until I had to leave for work in the morning and I lost
a quarter tank gas. No leaks, no smell. What could
cause this issue??? Thanks

The tank must not have been full in the first place. Or your gauge is not reading correctly. Or maybe someone stole some. How do you know its down 1/4 tank? If nothing's leaking, fill it up again and drive on. The problem, if there is one will present itself again soon enough. If its being stolen tie an alligator to the back bumper at night.
