Your Toyota came with two engine choices. The 2.4 liter four cylinder has a steel timing chain that normally lasts the life of the car without being serviced. The other engine is a 3.3 liter V6 that has a rubber/fabric timing belt that should be inspected and possibly replaced around 100K miles. The dealer will want $1500 but an independent shop might do it for $500. I hope you have the four cylinder engine.
