Why does my car hum/whistle when driving?

Asked by mikec0805 May 07, 2013 at 12:50 PM about the 2001 Toyota Camry Solara SLE Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Makes a slight whistle/humming noise from front drivers side at all speeds, seems more prevalent when cruising and gas is pressed to keep at even speed. Any suggestions? Ball join/U-joint on drive shaft?
