Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my 2005 chevy cavalier check engine light came on and the car is starting to run hot but it on runs hot at a stand still.im thing that it could be a fuse because nothing is leaking from anywhere so maybe its the eletric fan fuse but im not sure

Your car can still overheat if its not moving. Check the coolant fluid level and have the fan checked. This can be a pretty serious problem so it's worth getting it checked out. It's better to pay to have a mechanic now than paying for a new engine later.
