Flashing engine light on 2004 Camry

My check engine light started flashing on 2004 Toyota Camry. It only flashes
when the car is running and in park. Once I put the car in drive or reverse the
flashing goes away. Anyone know what could cause this?

Only the computer knows. You need to read the computer to see what is causing the light to come on. Most auto parts stores (Auto Zone, Advanced Auto) will read the computer for free and give you some info.
