Try this quick test. Disconnect ALL 6 ignition coils. Replace the fuse and crank the engine over. Did the fuse blow again?

Did unplug all coils no blown fuse so I one at a time plugeach one in turning the key to on until I got to the last one which of course was the hardest on backside of ENGINE once I plugged back in the fuse popped. So pulled out coil it took an hour it was fried at the boot . Somehow the plug worked its way out all the way and everything just melted never seen anything like it . So got plug and trash out went to put new plug in and now new issue can't get it to thread in any ideas on getting threads to catch thanks

So...does it appear that the spark plug hole in the cylinder head has bad threads...thus you are unable to thread in the new SP? If yes...you will need to buy a ....tap.....which is correct for the spark plug thread size and attempt the restore threads in the head. This cpuld be tricky. The tap has to straight and square with the SP hole. Use a little grease to capture the metal residue being removed. We usually use electrical tape to secure a socket and extension to the tap and then a ratchet to facilitate the repair.

Ok tried retapping threads but they are waisted not sure how but nothing seems to work threads look like for the most part thin or gone thinking about drilling out and installing helicoil the question is is there anything else that can be done before I attempt helicoil and if I install helicoil should I pull head thanks

Well......there seems to be a SP hole repair kit which uses an INSERT rather than a Helicoil. The damaged hole is taped with a tap that is included in the kit. The insert is installed on the new SP. and coated with a cement. The insert and SP are installed in the fresh SP hole threads and allowed to set. Interesting idea. might work.

I bought it at advanced auto because of the valve cover the spark hole being down so deep I had to grind the outside of tap to fit spark socket . I also put electrical tape to hold it to inside of spark socket . Used lots of Vaseline on threads to catch chips I will get name of product it was very simple
