compression test

I have a 2002 2.4 Camry,how many
piston cycles does it take to get a max
compression reading on a tester? i’m
probably cranking 10 to 12 seconds to
get a 140 psi reading seems excessive

If all cylinders test very low or zero it's jumped timing. Hope that helps! Jim

If the throttle is closed you won't get enough air to compress!
