toyota camry throtle

i got a guy to put in a used moter in my 2001 camry xle and when i crank up and cold it
does fine put when it warms up and i stop or let off gas going down road , it acts like its
going to die. while im at a light it acts like its got a cam in it . you can watch the rpms
drop down and go up , drop down and go up. any suggestions?

You seem to be describing a rough idle when the engine warms up. If this correct? If yes....ask the engine installer if he checked and cleaned the throttle body and IAC on this replacement engine.

There are many Youtube videos on how to clean your throttle body and IAC. I would also buy some Mass Air Flow cleaner and clean that as well. If problem persists after cleaning, you may have a bad ECT as well. I would change that out also. Keep us posted on how it goes.
