What is the mileage on this engine? I am thinking it is time to check the timing belt for shedding......timing......loosness.

Ok....so let's regroup here. Originally...the car died and you replaced the crank sensor. Car then cranked and started....but runs badly. Code p0340 is present. The timing belt and water pump were replaced and the timing marks are correct. So...what is the next step in the diagnosis? Well we can continue to replace parts.....or....we can get out the Scan Tool and Volt Meter....and.....a fuel pressure guage....and start checking the fuel and ignition system. Do you have any of this equipment. Can you remove the spark plugs and perform a Compression Test?
