Do fluid run through the hoses on the fans?

When I took the radiator out and disconnected the 2 hoses on the bottom I
noticed fluid coming out of them

Yes, there is fluid. If they are black hoses, then it is coolant. If they are steel lines, then it could be engine oil, and if it is an automatic, it would trany fluid. It's gonna drain some. Engine oil is dark brown, trany fluid is red, coolant has the viscosity of water and is either green or red.
