05 Chevy trailblazer

The heat in my truck doesn't work it only goes from
cold to cool I switch it to hot but just stays cool it
blows strong on window vent but not on dash
either what could this be the cause of?

If the engine temperature is normal, and the heater hoses are getting hot, then there is a problem with a blend door actuator under the dash not operating the blend door for the climate control.
