After cleaning I would buy an open box of Arm and Hammer baking soda in the car to absorb odors. You will never get all the smell out. Airing the car out a lot will also help.

i get this stuff in a spray bottle called odorban just spray down the entire interior like its febreez the stuff works amazing

Ozone device may be rented. Procedure: Must get the smoke residue out of ac and heating units and all. Run extension cord with window partly open with device in vehicle. Run the AC for a while, then the heater for awhile. One hour may get it all. Ask Reconditioning Large Car Dealers for exactly how long, etc. This is what they use, we understand.
