Starter bolts may have just come loose that is if grinding just recently started.

Do you inspect the flywheel? need to inspect it before you worry about replacement cost.

I have a 2005 Camry. I replaced the starter a month ago. Now I get a grinding noise when starting. Not always, but more and more. Seems to do it when starting first thing. After hot not so much. ???? Faulty starter? I got a reman one from Advance Auto.
