My 1998 Toyota camry has been sitting over a year, put a new battery in, it tries to turn over but won't start

Try spraying some quick start in the throttle body to see if it'll start for a bit. If it does, check fuel pressure. If pressure is ok, you may have to drain old fuel, depending how much fuel is in the tank, if it's low, just mix in some new fuel with 91% octane, if more tba. 1/4 tankfull, drain it

Suggest you pull the Engine oil dipstick and check the quality of the Oil. Smell it...feel it between your fingers....does it smell like GAS? Do not start the Engine. Change the oil and filter first.
