What Engine is in this vehicle? Any warning lights ON or Flashing? Any recent repairs or service performed? What indications are you seeing which makes you think she's running Hot.......Temp Gauge......Smoke.... Smell from under hood?

Is the thermostat new? Are you saying it runs cool without the t-stat? You probably need to do some cooling system maintenance such as flushing the engine, new hoses, coolant and thermostat. Also check to see if the cooling fan is working properly.
