Car won’t start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car has sat for a year was running fine before that
but now it won’t start. Put a new battery and only
thing it does is ding when u turn the key when the
door is open. Any suggestions of what it could be??
Fuses, starter or what do you think I should do???
Help please tired of walking

is power getting to the starter when you hit the key ? Is there a starter relay ? make sure batt connections are tight

If you have a car alarm installed in your vehicle then you might have to reset it because it is wired into your starter and will keep your car from starting.
